Summary of U.S. Colleges by SAT Score

More colleges are removing SAT scores as a "required item" from their application requirements, but still they are considering the SAT score in admission process. Most students have taken SAT exam and submitted SAT scores when applying competitive 4-years colleges in the academic year 2022-2023.
35 colleges have SAT scores of 1500 or higher, which is very competitive. Additionally, 58 colleges have SAT scores of 1400 or higher, which is also competitive scores.

SAT Percentile and Score Table

The 2023 Average SAT score colleges is 1,168. For public colleges, the average SAT score is 1,127 and the private colleges' average SAT score is 1,194.
