The average values are calculated based on the data from IPEDS, U.S. Department of Education . Due to the lack of data, we exclude less than 2 years colleges for academic stats such as SAT scores and tuition.
The next list describes the highest/lowest State in perspectives of key academic factors.
- California has the most schools with 766 schools and Alaska has the least schools with 10 schools.
- Rhode Island schools have the tightest (lowest) acceptance rate with 61.87% and Wyoming schools have the affordable (highest) rate with 96.78%.
